So this got me to thinking . . . what if machines do have a subconscious of their own? What if machines right now are like human babies, which have brains but no way of expressing themselves except screaming (crashing)? What would a machine's subconscious look like? How does it feed off what we give it? If machines could talk to us, what would they say?

architectureblog: maluna: swimming over a submerged city. (via neatorama)
i jumped in the river and what did i see?
black-eyed angels swimming with me.
a moon full of stars and astral cars.
all the figures i used to see.
all my lovers were there with me.
all my past and futures.
and we all went to heaven in a little row boat.
there was nothing to fear and nothing to doubt.
Gizmodo - Ferris Bueller’s Ferrari House Now For Sale
“The property includes two buildings. One of them was used as a garage/car museum in real life and in the movie. The home has four bedrooms and four full baths, with beautiful forest views. Total size: 5300 square feet. But beyond the Ferris Bueller lore, the Ben Rose Home—designed by A. James Speyer and David Haid—this is my dream home: Simple, elegant, built with glass, aluminum, cedar wood, and steel over a wild ravine in the middle of the Highland Park’s woods, in Illinois. In other words, Grade A architecture/property porn.”

berge guesthouse by nils holger moormann in aschau (in the alps between germany and austria)
my favorite part about the german/austrian accomodations were the separate blankets. all of the hotels made their beds this way and it’s fantastic! EmCee calls me a “blanket and/or bed arsehole” depending on what i’m hoarding on any particular evening we share a bedspace. somtimes i need more warmth. or more space. or BOTH.
oink. i can probably hog up a cal king. in fact, i probably have.
my problem was that i always needed more warmth AND more space.
now i have a king to myself. (it was never really about the bed.)
…
oh hey, that is one gorgeous shower!
if you lived here, you’d be home right now
